Assam Career : NBPGR Recruitment 2024

Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in NBPGR Assam.

National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in SERB research project entitled "Cryobiotechnological approaches for Genetic Resource Conservation and Creation
of a Base Germplasm Collection of Indian Piper Species."

Essential Qualification :

i) Post Graduate Degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Basic Science or Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR/UGC - NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE

ii) The Selection process through National Level examination conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MFIRD,
ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

iii) 2 years Research experience altogether in the relevant field

Emoluments : Rs. 35000/- + HRA per month

Upper age limit:

35 years on the date of advertisement.

Age limits are relaxable altogether for 3 years for SC/ ST/OBC/ Physically Challenged/ female candidates as per Govt. of India norms.

Preference will also be given to candidates having evidence of experience in the relevant area
