Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Tezpur Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Teachers and Counsellors.

Name of post : PGT- Physics ,Chemistry, Hindi, Geography

Qualification : Masters degree in respective subject with B.Ed.

Name of post : TGT- S.St,, Sanskrit, Hindi

Qualification :

1. The candidate should possess the professional qualification of B.Ed. as on the last date of submission of application.
2. For TGT Hindi and Sanskrit the respective subject should be in all the three years of graduation with 50% marks
3. For TGT S.St. any two of the following at graduation level with 50% marks.- History, Geography, Economics & Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography in all the years of
   graduation with at least 50% marks.
4. CTET qualified candidates will be preferred

Name of post : PRT

Qualification :

i) Intermediate or its equivalent; and JBT of a duration of not less than two years/ B.El.Ed Or
Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.

ii) CTET qualified candidates will be preferred.

iii) Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium

Name of post : Computer Instructor

Qualification :

B.E , B.Tech (Computer Science)/ BCA/ MCA/ M.Sc (CS)/ M.Sc (Electronics with CS)/ M.SC(IT)/ B.Sc (Computer Science).

Or

Bachelor’s/ Master Degree in any science subjects/Mathematics from recognized University with PGDCA from Govt. Recognized University/ Institute.

Or

Post Graduate Degree in any subject with PGDCA from Govt. Recognized University/ ’O’ Level from DOEACC.

Or

Post Graduate Degree in any subject with minimum ‘A’ Level from DOEACC.

Name of post : Special Educator

Qualification :

Graduation ( Any stream ) with B.Ed in Special Education or Senior diploma in teaching the deaf or PG Diploma in special education for Mental Retardation from institution recognized by Rehabilitation council of India (RCI).

Desirable qualification required : Minimum one year experience as a Special Education teacher in
a school or with Rehabilitation Council of India

Name of post : Counsellor

Qualification :

B.A. / B.Sc. (Psychology) with certificate of diploma in counseling from a recognized university.

Desirable qualification required : Minimum one year experience in providing career/ educational
counseling to student at school or working knowledge and experience in placement bureaus or registration with Rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational Councilor

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 10th July 2024 from 10 AM onwards in Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Tezpur, P.O. –Dekargaon, Dist- Sonitpur, Assam-784501
