Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in ISI Assam.

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work on the research project titled “Microbial and plant-assisted bioremediation of potentially toxic elements from the coal mine contaminated soils of Jharkhand: A sustainable approach”, in the Agricultural and Ecological Research Unit of the Institute.

Qualification :

Essential: First class in M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Environment Science/ Microbiology.

Desirable: Research experience in soil and water analysis/ vermicomposting also.

Salary : Rs. 20000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) per month (consolidated)

Age :

Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 May 2024.

Age may also be relaxed for SC/ ST/ OBC/Women/ differently abled candidates.

Age relaxation may also be given to outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience
