Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in ISI Assam.

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work in the externally funded projects on "Remote Intelligent Baby Monitoring" in the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Unit of the Institute. Mahalanobis set up the Statistical Laboratory in the Presidency College sometime in the 1920s. On 17 December 1931, the Indian Statistical Institute was founded as a learned society and housed in the Statistical Laboratory. The Institute was registered on 28 April 1932, as a non-profit distributing learned society under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) and is now registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961 amended in 1964. Sir R.N. Mookerjee accepted the office of the President of the Institute, and held this office until his death in 1936

Qualification & Experience :

Essential:

(i) B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent or M.C.A. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics or equivalent

(ii) Strong programming skills in Python and C/ C++.

Desirable:

(i) Exposure to Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning algorithms

(ii) Publication(s) on Image Processing or Pattern Recognition area.

Consolidated pay : Rs. 27000/- (Rupees twenty seven thousand only) to Rs. 32000/- (Rupees thirty two thousand only) per month with no other allowances depending upon the qualifications and/or relevant experience.

Age Limit :

Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 April 2024 with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently abled candidates.

Age relaxation may be given to the outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.
