Assam Career : ISI Recruitment 2024

Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in ISI Assam.

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project linked Project Associate purely on temporary basis to work in the project titled "Air Quality Assessment of Industrial regions using camera-captured images", funded by West Bengal Pollution Control Board and undertaken at the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Unit, Kolkata of the Institute. The duration of the appointment will remain valid till 31 March 2025 from the date of his/her joining the institute which may be extended later/terminated earlier. Indian Statistical Institute is an Institution of National Importance under the aegis of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoS&PI), Government of India.

Qualifications :

B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/ equivalent or M.C.A. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics or equivalent with strong programming skills in Python and MTLAB.

Knowledge of image processing, data analysis and machine learning altogether.

Salary : Rs. 25000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) to Rs. 28000/- (Rupees twenty eight thousand only) plus 27% H.R.A. per month, depending on the qualification and previous work experience

Age :

Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 March 2024 with relaxation also for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/differently abled candidates.

Age relaxation may also be given to the outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.

Selection Procedure :

A walk-in-interview will be conducted on 12th April 2024 at 01:00 p.m. in the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Unit Seminar Room, 8th Floor, S.N. Bose Bhawan, ISI, Kolkata
