Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in ISI Assam.
Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Statistical Trainee. ISI's objectives include to promote the study and dissemination of knowledge of statistics, to develop statistical theory and methods, and their use in research and practical applications generally, with special reference to problems of planning of national development and social welfare, to undertake research in various fields of natural and social sciences, with a view to the mutual development of statistics and these sciences and to provide for, and undertake, the collection of information, investigations, projects and operational research for purposes of planning and the improvement of efficiency of management and productions and to undertake any other ancillary activities. The Registered Office of the Institute is in Calcutta (now Kolkata).

Qualifications :
Fresh Master’s degree holders in Statistics/ Econometrics/ Data Science with
experience in Computer Programming/ Statistical Packages.
Fresh Postgraduates who are completing their M.Sc. in 2024 or awaiting results are eligible to apply but if selected, their appointment will be allowed only after successful completion of the M.Sc. degree (along with fulfilment of all other desired criteria ).
Pay : A consolidated pay 25000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) per month.
Age : Should not exceed 30 years as on 01 September 2024, usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ Differently abled and also extraordinary candidates.
