Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in IIT Guwahati Assam.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Associate in the project entitled "Indian Nanoelectronics Users’ Programme - Idea to Innovation (INUP-i2i)" at Centre for Nanotechnology. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was altogether established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati also commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and also five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati's campus is on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city. With the majestic Brahmaputra on one side, and with hills and vast open spaces on others, the campus provides an ideal setting for learning.

Preferable Expertise:
Overall Project Management at MeitY Delhi. INUP is a multi-institutional proposal with 5 IITs and IISc as partners. IIT Guwahati has been given the responsibility to handle the Project management unit - PMU. In that the person need to be deputed to MeitY office at Delhi. This team will coordinate with all the IITs on the activities/deliverables intended. The appointment procedure and salary has been approved by the ministry and as per the proposal. This is for your kind consideration and approval.
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 27th September 2024 at 10 AM altogether in Conference Room, Centre for Nanotechnology, IIT Guwahati
