Applications are invited for recruitment of various research based positions or career in ICAR NRCP Guwahati Assam.

ICAR-National Research Centre on Pig (ICAR NRCP) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of 01 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and 01 Young Professional -II (YP-II) purely on temporary basis under ICAR funded Network Project on “Network Program on Application of Genome Editing Technology for Improvement in Livestock Health and Production (NPGET) component -Production of Broiler Livestock and Poultry using CRISPR technology (Project: Development of myostatin knock out pigs)”

Essential Qualifications:

Post-Graduate (M.Sc./M.V.Sc./M. Tech.) in Life Science / Veterinary Science / Agriculture Science /Biotechnology from a recognized University/College with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.

Candidates having Post-graduate in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master degree should have NET qualification and 02 years of research experience

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- HRA per month for first and second year. Rs. 35,000/- HRA per month for third year as per ICAR guidelines

Age Limit:

Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women on the date of interview.

Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates will be extended as per GOI/ICAR rules

Emoluments : Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 42,000/-per month.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 45 years on the date of interview.

Age relaxation as per ICAR/GoI guidelines.
