Assam Career : Handique Girls' College Recruitment 2024

Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in Handique Girls' College Assam.

Handique Girls' College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Project Associate (1 No.) in a Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India funded research project entitled “Targeting bacterial biofilms with polyphenol-loaded and silver-doped ZnO nanoparticles : prospects for agro-horticultural application” at Advance Level Institutional Biotech Hub. The position is purely temporary and coterminous with the project. The project's duration will be initially for one year and is extendable up to two years based on yearly performance.

Essential Qualification:

A 1st class (60% marks) M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Bioscience and Bioinformatics from UGC recognized university.

Desirable: Working experience in nano-materials and bacterial biofilms.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as of the last date of application.

Fellowship:

1. For NET/GATE qualified candidates : Rs. 31,000/- per month.
2. For non-NET/GATE qualified candidates : Rs. 25,000/- per month. HRA will also be admissible as per DBT rules.

A walk-in-interview will be held on 29th June 2024 from 11 AM to 3:30 PM in Handique Girls' College, Guwahati-781001, Assam
