Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative and technical positions or career in Gauhati University Assam.

Gauhati University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of CRS Project Fellows in the Department of Mathematics under a Collaborative Research Scheme (CRS) Project of UGC-DAE CSR entitled "Factional Computational Modelling in Radiobiology". The post purely temporary in nature and will co-terminate with the CRS project. Gauhati University is altogether one of the premier institutions of higher education in Northeast India and one of the most sought-after postgraduate institutions. It is the oldest and the largest university in the entire Northeast. The university represents the academic and cultural background of the region, on which the other academic institutions of Northeast India started their journey. It is the pioneer educational institute also. It also extends its hand holding support to all subsequent academic institutions in this region. Indologist and philanthropist Krishna Kanta Handiqui had been the founder Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University. Some very illustrious sons and daughters of Assam have been its alumni.

Essential Qualification:

M.Sc. (not earlier than 3 years) with a minimum of 55% marks in Mathematics for the position of CRS Project Fellow (Junior)

Desirables: Basic Knowledge of Biology and expertise in handling software like MATLAB/ Mathematica.

Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/-+ HRA per month as CRS Project Fellow (Junior)-I. However, the Project also offers various monthly fellowship options for the eligible selected candidates.
