Applications are invited for recruitment of various medical positions or career in ESIC Model Hospital Guwahati Assam.
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Model Hospital Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Senior Residents in Emergency Medicine on adhoc basis. The promulgation of Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in independent India. The scheme was inaugurated in Kanpur on 24th February 1952 (ESIC Day) by then Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. The venue was the Brijender Swarup Park, Kanpur and Panditji altogether addressed a 70,000 strong gathering in Hindi in the presence of Pt.Gobind Ballabh Pant, Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh; Babu Jagjivan Ram, Union Labour Minister; Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur, Union Health Minister; Sh.Chandrabhan Gupt, Union Food Minister and Dr.C.L.Katial, the first Director General of ESIC.

Eligibility Criteria :
- MBBS with PG Degree or equivalent/ PG Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university.
- Non PG Doctors with two year experience can also apply for SR in department of Medicine. However preference will be given to PG pass-out candidates.
- In case of non availability of PG candidates, MBBS with atleast 02 years working experience in the same discipline, in which proposed to be engaged will be considered.
Age:
Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview.
Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and all others as per Central Government Rule.
No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidate applying for unreserved vacancies.
Selection Procedure :
The Interview will be conducted every working Friday till the posts are filled.
Reporting time for document verification is 9 AM to 9:30 AM
