Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in Dibrugarh University Assam.

Dibrugarh University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of 1 (one) Research Assistant and 2 (two) Field Investigator altogether for a research project (collaborative) funded by ICSSR, New Delhi entitled "An Anthropological Study of the Traditional Healers and Healing Practices among two Scheduled Tribes of Assam: Conservation and Sustainable use of Indigenous Knowledge of Mishing and Dimasa Tribe." The posts are purely temporary. The appointment may also be terminated at any time before the expiry of the stipulated period if the work is deemed to be unsatisfactory.

Qualification : Ph.D./M.Phil. /Postgraduate in Anthropology with 55% marks altogether.

Salary : Rs. 37000/- per month (As per ICSSR guidelines)

Qualification : Postgraduate in Anthropology with 55% marks.

Salary : Rs. 20000/- per month (As per ICSSR guidelines)

Desirable Qualification :

Candidates should be proficient in English, Assamese, Mishing and Dimasa languages and should also be capable to travel to multiple locations. The candidate must have good communication skill and excellent writing and communication abilities for clear reporting and documentation along with computer knowledge to compile data. Preference will be given to candidates having field survey experience.
