The Directorate of Women and Child Development (WCD) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 315 vacant posts or career on purely temporary contractual posts under "Shakti Sadan" for districts of Bajali, Baksa, Barpeta, Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Charaideo, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dima-Hasao, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Hojai, Jorhat, Kamrup Metro, Kamrup, Karbi- Anglong, Karimganj, Kokrajhar,
Lakhimpur, Majuli, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Sonitpur, South Salmara-Mankachar, Tamulpur, Tinsukia, Udalguri and West Karbi-Anglong altogether.

Eligibility Criteria :

Any woman having a Masters in Law / Social Work/ Sociology/Social Science/Psychology with at least 5 years experience of working on women related relevant domains in an administrative set-up with a Government or Non-Government project programme and preferably also with at least 1-year experience of counselling either within or outside the same set-up.

Candidate should also be preferably a resident of the local community so that local human resource and expertise is utlised for effective functioning of the centre.

Salary : Rs. 21000/- per month

Any person who is a graduate with a minimum of 3 years' experience handling office documentation
related job with proficiency in working on computers, at state or district level with government or Non-Governmental organizations

Eligibility Criteria :

Any person who is literate with knowledge / experience of working in the relevant domain altogether.

High School pass or equivalent will also be preferred.

Salary : Rs. 10500/- per month

Eligibility Criteria :

Any person having at least 2 years experience of working as security personnel in a government or
reputed organization at the district/ state level. He/ she should preferably be retired military/ para-military personnel

Salary : Rs. 9000/- per month

Age Limit :

The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022 with a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST (P) and ST(H) categories
