Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for various non teaching positions or career on direct recruitment or regular basis.
Name of post : Registrar (Administration)
No. of posts : 1
Qualification & Experience :
1) A Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
2) At least fifteen (15) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 7,000/-) and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 8,000/-) and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
Or
Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education
Or
Fifteen (15) years of administrative experience, of which eight (08) years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Name of post : Internal Audit Officer (Administration)

Qualification & Experience :
Officers belonging to Audit and Accounts Services or other similar organized Accounts Services in Central / State Govt., holding analogous posts on regular basis.
OR
With three (03) years regular service in Level-11 or equivalent in the area of Audit and Accounts in any Govt. Department / Autonomous Bodies.
OR
With five (05) years regular service in Level-10 or equivalent in the area of Audit and Accounts in any Govt. Department / Autonomous Bodies

Qualification & Experience :
i) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
ii) Five (05) years of experience as Assistant Registrar or in equivalent post in the Pay Level-10 and above.

ii) Speed in English typing @35 WPM or Speed in Hindi typing @30 WPM (35 WPM and 30 WPM correspond to 10500 KDPH / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each work).
iii) Proficiency in computer operations

After submission of the ONLINE application in the portal, a duly signed hard copy (pdf) of the completed application(s) must be submitted to “The Registrar, Tezpur University, Tezpur-784 028, Assam” along with all necessary enclosures including the proof of submission of application fee and “No Objection Certificate (NOC)”, wherever applicable
Last date of submission of duly signed hard copy of the online application along with supporting documents is 25.05.2024
Application Fees :
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for the post of Registrar
and 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for the other posts. SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted
