Assam: Anu Chowdhury passes away at 94

Guwahati: Anu Chowdhury from Kharghuli in Guwahati, Assam passed away at 3.20 am on October 20.

She was 94 years old at the time of his death.

Wife of late Avani Mohan Chowdhury, the woman, who lived a sophisticated life with the endless workforce, was active till the last moment of her life.

On the night of October 19, she suddenly felt cold at 1 am after going to bed.

Her son Arijit Chowdhury and family members tried their best to take care of her as she became increasingly ill.

She even refused to take medicines and died in front of her family members.

Her close ones described her as a kind woman who bound everyone in her family with great affection.

Her son, Arijit Chowdhury, an architect, shared an emotional picture of his mother's last moments on Facebook.

She passed away after a long life with sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.

Her funeral was held at Navagraha crematorium in the city on Sunday.
