Guwahati: The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) led by former MP Badruddin Ajmal has appealed to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to provide security to the Muslims living in the state.

The appeal was made by the party following an alleged surge in threats from unknown organisations and fundamentalist groups.
