Assam: 33-year-old businessman stabbed to death in Bajali

Pathsala: In a shocking incident, a 33-year-old businessman was allegedly stabbed to death in lower Assam’s Bajali district.

The incident occurred in the Dhumarpur area in the Bajali district.

According to reports, unidentified assailants attacked the businessman by wielding a sharp weapon.

The deceased has been identified as Ibrahim Ali of the Dhumarpur area in the Bajali district.

The incident unfolded as the deceased, was returning home with his mother from a warehouse located just 100 meters away from his residence.

The assailants also seriously injured Ibrahim’s mother, Shahera Khatun, during the assault.

The attackers ambushed him on his way, leaving him critically wounded.

Despite efforts to rush Ibrahim to the Swahid Mandan Rowta Civil Hospital, Bajali, he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

The local community has been left reeling from the senseless violence, with shock and grief palpable among Ibrahim’s family and neighbours.

Bajali police have swiftly launched an investigation into the incident to apprehend the perpetrators and determine the motive behind the attack.
