Bajali: A 27-year-old medical representative was killed in a road accident at Patacharkuchi in Assam's Bajali district on Thursday night.

Raktim Pratim Sarma, a resident of Bajali district, was riding his motorcycle to the gym when he was struck by a speeding Hyundai Venue car.

The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in his immediate death at the scene. The car, bearing registration number AS 01 FH 1324, was driven by an unidentified man.

Sarma's family and friends have expressed their anger and frustration over the reckless driving that led to his untimely demise.

The Patacharkuchi police are investigating the matter to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident and to identify the driver.

The victim's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination at the Fakharuddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital in Baparta.
