Assam: 22-year-old found dead in Nagaon

Guwahati: A 22-year-old woman was found near a pond in Nagaon, Assam on Saturday.

As per reports, the woman's body was found at the Kathalguri village in Juria, Nagaon.

The deceased was identified as Alisa Begum, a resident of the same area.

The police said that the exact cause of death is yet to be known.

An investigation has been initiated by the police in connection with the incident.

Police said that an investigation is being carried out to check all angles into the case including murder.
