Assam: 12-year-old dies by suicide in Guwahati

Guwahati: On Wednesday, a 12-year-old girl reportedly died by suicide in the Shantipur area of Guwahati, Assam.

As per reports, the minor jumped off from the second floor of an apartment complex located at the Ashram Road area in Guwahati's Shantipur.

The minor was a class eight student studying at a school located in the Bharalumukh area, according to reports.

While locals rushed the minor immediately to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), the doctors declared her as brought dead.

The police have begun an investigation into the incident and looking into all angles including murder as well as love-related matters.
