India’s first 3D-printed school inaugurated in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: India’s first 3D-printed school was recently inaugurated in Itanagar – the capital of Arunachal Pradesh.

This was informed by Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday (July 30).

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu announced the inauguration of India’s first 3D-printed educational institution, the Government Secondary School at Pachin in Itanagar.

The school, which was previously destroyed by fire, has been reconstructed using advanced 3D printing technology in a remarkably short span of just two months.

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu stated, “Government Secondary School, Pachin, Itanagar, becomes India’s first 3D Printed School.”

“Devoured by fire, the school was rebuilt in just two months,” the Arunachal Pradesh chief minister added.

Khandu said, “I heartily compliment everyone engaged in creating a watershed moment in our collective efforts to offer a cost-effective, sustainable, and rapid solution to the educational needs of our students.”

The Arunachal Pradesh chief minister stated that the integration of state-of-the-art facilities through 3D printing technology can enhance accessibility to education, particularly in remote and underserved communities.
