Family of five killed in Arunachal Pradesh road accident, three-year-old survives

ITANAGAR: In a devastating incident, a family of five lost their lives in a road accident on Tuesday (February 27), when the car they were traveling in plunged into a deep gorge in the Bopi Godak circle near Daporijo town in Kamle district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The victims have been identified as Tator Pakmen, Pakmar Paksok, Linya Yudik, Tajum Nuk and Betor Marde.

Fortunately, a 3-year-old child named Libo Paksok survived the tragedy and is currently receiving medical treatment at Muri Mugli Hospital in Daporijo, Arunachal Pradesh.

Following the accident, a police team swiftly arrived at the scene to commence investigations into the tragic incident.

Initial reports suggest that the car was being driven by Lompak Paksok and was accompanying an ambulance transporting a critically ill boy named Jarli Paksok.

Jarli was being transferred from TRIHMS Hospital in Naharlagun to another medical facility in Arunachal Pradesh for further treatment.
