Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or jobs in NERIST Arunachal Pradesh.
North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project entitled “Impact of Climatic Variables on Heat Stress and Real-Time Monitoring with IoT-Based Solutions for Sustainable Agricultural Livelihoods’’, sponsored by MST & DST Govt. of India, New Delhi. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (or NERIST) is altogether a science and technology oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 1984, it is also a deemed-to-be-university, autonomous, fully funded and controlled by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The under graduate programmes of Engineering are altogether accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Consolidated Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- per month 9% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 42,000/- per month 9% HRA for 3rd year for NET/GATE Qualified Candidates.
Essential Qualification:
Candidates with a strong academic background, holding a First Class post-graduate degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Farm Machinery and Power
The applicants who possess prior experience or knowledge in evaluating the impact of climate change on agricultural workers, either in laboratory or field settings, will be given preference
