Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in Department of Political Science. Rajiv Gandhi University (formerly Arunachal University) is the premier institution for higher education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The institute has seen completion of twenty five years of its existence. Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, laid the foundation stone of the university on 4th February 1984 at Rono Hills, where the present campus is located. Ever since its inception, the university has been trying to achieve excellence and fulfill the objectives as envisaged in the University Act.

Salary : Rs. 1500/- per class to a maximum of Rs. 50000/- per month

Qualification :

1. M.A .in Political Science with minimum 55% mark (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the granting system is followed) from an accredited Indian / Foreign University.
2. Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test NET/SLET/SET in Concerned Subject.
3. The Candidates who have been awarded Ph.D. shall be exempted from the requirement of Ph.D/ JRF/ NET/ SLET and teaching experience also shall be given preference.

Selection Procedure :

A walk-in-interview will be held altogether on 26th June 2024 at 10 AM in the Department of Political Science, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh
