Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or jobs in RGU Arunachal Pradesh.
Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Assistant Professor (Full Time Contractual) at the Centre for Distance and Online Education. The post is purely on temporary basis for a period of 6(six) months, however, their service may be extendable, if needed by the university. Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) (formerly Arunachal University) is the oldest university in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located at Rono Hills in Doimukh town, about 28km from the state capital, Itanagar. The then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi laid The foundation stone for the university in 1984. The university became Rajiv Gandhi University in 2005 when UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was on a visit to the state. Rajiv Gandhi University is a Central University under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India since 9 April 2007. It is an accredited university under the University Grants Commission.

Qualification :
I. MA(Economics) / MA (Hindi) with minimum 55%
II. NET/SLET qualified marks, 5% relaxation in case of SC/ST candidates.
III. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience in teaching
Remuneration : Rs. 35000/- per month
