Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or jobs in NERIST Arunachal Pradesh.

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in Chemistry during the forthcoming first semester (Jul-Dec, 2024) of academic session, 2024-25. The appointment shall be purely on temporary basis for a fixed period not exceeding the duration of
the semester for which the appointment is made. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (or NERIST) is a science and technology oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 1984, it is also a deemed-to-be-university, autonomous, fully funded and controlled by the Ministry of Education, Government of India (formally MHRD) . The institute is also managed by a Board of Management, comprising representatives of the Ministry of Education, the eight beneficiary states of the North Eastern region, AICTE and educationists. The state governor of Arunachal Pradesh is altogether the de facto head of the highest body, NERIST Society, which consists of education ministers of all North Eastern States. The Board of Management is altogether headed by the Chairman.

Eligibility Criteria :

The qualifications for appointment of Guest Faculty shall be the same as that of Assistant Professor as per UGC/AICTE guidelines

Salary :

The honorarium for Guest Faculty shall be Rs. 1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month as per UGC guidelines.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates must appear for a walk-in-interview at 1000 Hrs on 23.07.2024, in the office chamber of the Head, Department of Chemistry. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh.

Candidates are advised to report for the walk-in-Interview, 30 minutes altogether before the time of interview.
