Amit Shah to visit Tripura on April 07 for Lok Sabha election campaigning
AGRATALA: Union home minister Amit Shah is set to embark on a two-day visit to Tripura starting from April 07, where he will engage in a rally and conduct a roadshow as part of the BJP's electoral campaign for the two Lok Sabha seats in the Northeast state.
During his anticipated visit, Amit Shah is also slated to preside over an organizational meeting of party leaders in Tripura.
Scheduled to address a rally in Mizoram on April 07, Amit Shah is expected to arrive in Tripura on the same day.
He will convene an organizational meeting, deliver a speech at a rally in Udaipur, located in Gomati district in Tripura, and lead a roadshow in Agartala.

Tripura chief minister Manik Saha convened a meeting with senior party leaders on Thursday (March 28) evening to plan for Shah's visit to the state.
Elections for the Tripura West Lok Sabha constituency and a by-poll for the Ramnagar assembly seat are slated for April 19, with the Tripura East parliamentary constituency going to polls on April 26.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, defence minister Rajnath Singh, union minister Arjun Munda, and party MP Hema Malini are also anticipated to visit Tripura soon to bolster the party's campaign.
For the elections, the BJP has nominated Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb for the Tripura West Lok Sabha seat, while Kriti Devi Debbarman is contesting the Tripura East parliamentary constituency.
